Overview
With the original site successfully launched in work 2024-01, we are now pivoting to move the site over to Shopify, so that we can more easily do eCommerce sales.
Background
Shopify is a very popular platform for mediating online stores / eCommerce. Behind the scenes, it is built on Ruby on Rails, but we would be using a tenant-instance of the application, and all “code” would be done using their liquid template language, and also writing HTML and CSS.
This will require both learning how Shopify works, behind the scenes, and how to customize it, and the deliverable will be launching the site and making sales on it.
